Read our FAQ below to find out more!

  • How long will this course take me to complete?

Including the lessons and take-home exercises, most students finish the course in 3-5 hours.

  • How long will I have access?

Indefinitely! You can move as quickly or as slowly as you like through this course. It is completely self-paced.

  • You mentioned take-home exercises... how involved are these?

These assignments or exercises are really just meant to get you and your partner thinking and talking about your relationship in a different way. They are easily incorporated into your busy life!

  • Can I do this on my own, or does my husband have to do it too?

You can DEFINITELY still benefit from the course even if you do it on your own. However most students will in some shape or form, involve their partner in order to get the most out of what they are learning.

  • What if something serious comes up while we are working on the course, that we need support around?

As a bonus for purchasing the course is a 30-minute call with Ruth that you can use to debrief any issue or ask questions at any point in your learning.

  • I know you are a couples counsellor... is this course the same as therapy?

The short answer is no - this course is not the same as couples counselling - which can only be done in person, altogether. However, the content of the course and exercises have been curated to reflect what I know makes a difference in the couples I work with.

  • When is the best time to take this course?

Although you can still benefit from this course AFTER the baby is born, this course has been designed to be taken before the baby arrives. This is because most couples are able to focus better and have more time during this stage. It also helps a couple to manage their expectations for the first few months of parenthood.
